WAGE RANGE:  $19-$21/hour

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll assist with general maintenance projects across a variety of properties – from HOA common areas to private homes through our handyman division. The work is varied, hands-on, and offers a chance to learn different trades on the job.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help with general repairs: light plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and more

  • Support scheduled maintenance at HOA communities (grounds, buildings, equipment)

  • Assist on handyman jobs in residential homes (interior and exterior work)

  • Use and maintain tools and equipment properly

  • Fill out daily work orders, time sheets, and checklists

  • Communicate with team leads and follow project instructions

  • Help track and organize tools, materials, and supplies

  • Pitch in on team projects and learn new skills

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Comfortable working outdoors and indoors

  • Mechanically inclined or interested in learning tools and systems

  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

  • Some experience in maintenance or trades is great – but not required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • At least 18 years old with valid Oregon driver’s license and good driving record.

  • Must be a United States Citizen or possess a valid work permit.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.

  • Must be a positive example for all Association staff, inspiring a good teamwork environment.

  • Must be detailed in all follow-up activities.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally. 

  • Must be able to work indoors or outside;

  • Must be able to stand on feet throughout the day;

  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs with assistance;

  • Must be able to bend, squat crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis;

  • Must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat);

  • Must be able to climb stairs, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).

  • Must be able to show up on time and have a good attendance record.
