Outlook & Monday.com Calendar Sync

Monday.com board due dates can be synced to your Outlook calendar! This is currently a one-way integration, what you add to Monday.com will be added to Outlook, but what you add to Outlook will not be added to Monday.com.

The below steps outline how to sync your boards to your calendar. Please note, in order to save your sanity these steps must be repeated for each and every board you want on your Outlook calendar. IT can’t go in the backend on this one guys!

1) Navigate to the first board you would like to add to your Outlook calendar

1.5) If you do not have a date column for due dates currently on your board, add one or ask your Monday.com expert how to.

2) Hover over the title of the column (in this case, due date) and left click on the dropdown arrow.

3) Left click column settings

4) At the bottom, click the “Sync” button on the right of “Other Calendars”

5) IMPORTANT: If this is your own, private board (e.g, a community specific or action item tracker board), then you will want to select the right option of “All items on this board”. If you are on a shared board (e.g, a budget board) where more than one person is being assigned to items, select the left option of “Items assigned to me”.
If you are at all unsure, reach out to your Monday.com expert before syncing!

6) Left click on the “Sync”

Popup window asking which items to sync: 'Items assigned to me' or 'All items on this board,' with a blue sync button at the bottom.

7) Left click on the “Copy” button to the right of the URL above the blue button. Do not select “Sync to default Calendar”.

8) Head over to your Outlook calendar. On the “Home” tab, there is a button for “Add” in the top right corner, marked by a green cross. Left click that then left click “From Internet” from the dropdown menu.
