Job Summary:
The Director of Marketing and Business Development is responsible for the brand image and reputation both outside and inside the company. Essential Job Functions:
- Create relationships with potential customer including builders, associations, and potential employees. You are in the community increasing the awareness for Aperion.
- Identify opportunities to develop and strengthen relationships to advance Aperion’s business.
- Manage relationships with business partners to increase efficiency for the Aperion Team and improve business opportunities.
- Prepare proposals for new community applicants, deliver presentations, participate in meeting with potential clients.
- Responsible for social media posts on various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Creation of graphic designs for print and digital publication, internal and external.
- Website maintenance, updates and analytics to keep the content current.
- Event planning, coordination, set-up and tear-down (business partner events, charity events, and team parties).
- Communication with news outlets to find opportunities to increase brand awareness.
- Assist CEO with additionally assigned tasks.
- Maintain clean and organized work environment.
- Able to effectively organize and complete multiple tasks.
- Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, and positive attitude.
- Communicate in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner with all employees, clients, the Boards of Directors, and others with whom we may work with.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience successfully leading a sales initiative or project.
- Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Software.
- Strong experience in marketing, design, and website programs such as Canva, Weebly, Google Ads and Business, JotForm, and Monday.com (CRM).
- Must be highly detail oriented.
- Naturally self-motivated, confident individual with ability to work independently and/or with limited direction, as well as cooperatively in a team environment, while consistently demonstrating collaborative, respectful and productive work habits.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to internal and external customers. Ensure all experiences are distinctively superior.
- Follow all appropriate policies while constantly striving to improve all standards of operation.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Meet or exceed standards as evaluated on Aperion Management’s performance review.
