Salishan Seasonal Pool Attendant

Position: Pool Attendant
Pay: $14/hour 
Location: Salishan, Gleneden Beach, OR
Full-time or Part-time: Part-time

Job Description: The Seasonal Part-Time Pool Attendant ensures the safety and enjoyment of the recreation facilities, primarily focusing on the swimming pool, clubhouse, and tennis courts. This position is part-time, requiring availability for 2 days per week during the pool season. The Attendant is supervised by the Manager and includes an end-of-season evaluation.
Responsibilities

• Pool Operations: Perform routine pool operations, including record-keeping and monitoring pool chemistry.
• Pool Covering: Ensure the pool is covered to maintain heat.
• Facility Monitoring: Oversee daily pool and clubhouse usage and balance receipts for swim fees.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and janitorial duties in the clubhouse and locker rooms.
• Recreational Activities: Organize and facilitate recreational activities for leaseholders and their families.
• Pool Hours: Adhere to and maintain pool hours as directed by the Manager.
• Tennis Court: Maintain the tennis court registration log and monitor its usage.
• Supervision: Supervise all activities around the pool and clubhouse to ensure a safe environment.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as requested by the Manager.

This role emphasizes creating a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all users of the recreation facilities, with a commitment of 2 days per week during the pool season.
