Winter Storm Advisory


1/3/2022 - There is a winter storm advisory currently in effect for Central Oregon through Monday at 4pm, with heavy snow and strong winds predicted. Snow removal vendors have been notified and will begin working through communities once they have accumulated 2-3”of snow. Please give the vendors time to remove the snow. If you do have an emergency, please call us at 541-389-3172 during office hours (9am-5pm), or at 541-678-1894 after hours.  Please stay alert and safe! 
1/3/2022 - Weather alert issued by the National Weather Service for Central Oregon:
...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
​ * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will combined with gusty winds to cause blowing snow and poor visibility for travelers. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
